With the ignition ON, the IPC and PCM communicate with the ABS module through the GWM. The IPC sends messages to the GWM over the MS-CAN, the PCM uses the HS-CAN1. The GWM transmits the messages to the ABS module over the HS-CAN2. If the ABS module does not receive these messages within a certain time frame, the module sets DTCs. DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0155:00 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module: No Sub Type Information This DTC when the ABS module does not receive any messages from the IPC. This can be due to a IPC failure, a circuit failure on the HS-CAN or an excessive load on the network.
U0155:68 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module: Event Information This DTC when the ABS module does not receive the following messages from the IPC; selectable drive mode display, selectable drive mode test reset, hill descent control switch, odometer master value, or traction control switch. This can be due to a IPC failure, a circuit failure on the HS-CAN or an excessive load on the network.
