Rear Brake Disc: Removal

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire - Vehicles With: Single Rear Wheels . Refer to: Wheel and Tire - Vehicles With: Dual Rear Wheels .

    Vehicles with dual rear wheels (DRW)Β 

  2. NOTE: The brake disc is part of the wheel hub on dual rear wheel (DRW) applications.

    Remove the wheel bearing and wheel hub. Refer to: Wheel Hub - Full Floating Axle - Vehicles With: Dana M275/Dana M300.

  3. NOTE: Do not pry in the caliper sight hole to retract the pistons as this can damage the pistons and boots.
