WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Ford F-550 Super Duty, 2018 Ford F-450 Super Duty, 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty, and 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

AdvanceTrac is controlled by the stability-traction control switch in the following manner:

  • Momentarily pressing the switch disables traction control and reduces the sensitivity of the ESC feature. RSC remains enabled.
  • Pressing the switch and holding it pressed for more than 5 seconds disables traction control and ESC, RSC remains enabled.
  • Pressing the switch twice (pickup trucks only) reduces the sensitivity of both the traction control and ESC. RSC remains fully enabled.
  • Pressing the switch after one or more features have been disabled enables all 3 features.

Switching the transfer case to 4WD low locked disables all 3 features; traction control, ESC and RSC.
