On single rear-wheel vehicles, the rear wheel speed sensor encoder rings are pressed onto the rear wheel axle shaft and are serviced separately from the axle shaft. On dual rear-wheel vehicles, the rear wheel speed sensor encoder rings are part of the rear differential, ring-gear, backlash adjusters and are serviced with the adjusters.
