Front Head Restraint Guide Sleeve: Removal

2021 Ford Edge SE, 4WDSECTION Removal

Vehicles without police package 

  1. Remove the front head restraint.

    1. Depress the locking tabs.
    2. Remove the front head restraint.

    Vehicles with police package 

  2. Remove the front head restraint.

    1. Insert a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) hex key and release the head restraint guide sleeve internal locking spring.
    2. Depress the locking tab.
    3. Remove the front head restraint.

    All vehicles 

  3. NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphics for this step in installation.

    Remove the head restraint guide sleeve(s).

    1. Release the tab. Use the General Equipment: Flat Headed Screw Driver
    2. Remove the front head restraint guide sleeve.
