Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Snow Plow Package
The optional snowplow package adds a switch to the instrument panel and blunt cut for customer access. When the snowplow switch is enabled, a ground signal is received by the FCIM from the snowplow switch. The FCIM sends a message to the BCM which then grounds the rear heated seats/customer access relay control circuit. When the relay is energized, power is diverted from the rear heated seats and applied to the customer access blunt cut. When the snowplow switch is active, the following systems are disabled:
- AC inverter
- Fog lamps
- Heated steering wheel
- Heated seats
- Massaging seats
For more information on the snowplow package, refer to the Owner's Literature.
