  1. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the transmission from the jack.

    Remove the automatic transmission. Refer to: Transmission . Refer to: Transmission .

  2. Rotate the engine clockwise until the slotted holes on the flexplate are at the 6 o'clock position as shown.

    • Remove the 8 bolts and the flexplate.

    • Discard the 8 flexplate bolts.
