P2263 - TURBO/SUPER CHARGER BOOST SYSTEM PERFORMANCE

Description:  This DTC sets when the indicated boost pressure is less than the calibrated value by greater than a calibrated threshold.
Possible Causes: 
  • Charge air cooler (CAC) system leaks
  • Intake air system leaks
  • Exhaust system leaks
  • Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor biased
  • Exhaust pressure (EP) sensor biased
  • Restriction in the EP sensor
  • Restriction in the EP tube
  • Variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) vanes sticking
Diagnostic Aids:  If any exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system DTCs are present with this DTC, it may be an indication of a restricted EP sensor or tube.
