P132B - TURBOCHARGER/SUPERCHARGER BOOST CONTROL A PERFORMANCE

Description:  This DTC sets when the difference between the actual manifold absolute pressure (MAP) value and the desired MAP value is greater than a calibrated threshold when the monitor runs at engine idle.
Possible Causes: 
  • Turbocharger actuator is not responding
  • Damaged MAP sensor
Diagnostic Aids:  The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument cluster message center.
A concern is indicated if the MAP value does not change from 1.0 kPa (0.15 psi) to 2.0 kPa (0.29 psi) during the completion of the intrusive monitor.
