Removal And Installation: Driveshaft: Installation

2019 Ford Transit-150 Base, 3.7L Eng VIN M, Gas/EthanolSECTION Installation
NOTE: When installing a driveshaft, it is important to ensure that the driveshaft center bearing supports are hand tightened to the body bracket prior to the transmission and axle flange being torqued to specification. For 2, 3 and 4 piece shafts, the previously mentioned process ensures that the center bearing isolator is not under excessive axial tension, twisted which can cause center bearing isolator to rub on Yoke and/or cause driveline moan. If moan occurs after driveshaft is installed loosen center bearing bolts and re-align center bearing by hand to ensure bearing is not twisted and bound.
