Inspection 

  1. Check side cargo door to body dimensions. Refer to: Body and Frame .

Adjustment 

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

All alignments 

  1. Remove the pin type retainers and the side step trim panel.

  2. Remove the nuts and the side cargo door lower striker.

    Torque:

    18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

  3. Remove the upper striker trim piece.

  4. Remove the bolts and the upper cargo door striker.

    Torque:

    18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

    Aft cargo door in and out, up and down alignment 

  5. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.

    Torque:

    22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

  6. Adjust the door to specification. Refer to: Body and Frame .

    Aft cargo door fore, aft and tilt alignment 

  7. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.

    Torque:

    22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

    Fore cargo door in and out, up and down alignment 

  9. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.

    Torque:

  15. Install the removed components.
