DTC DESCRIPTION P0630 - VIN NOT PROGRAMMED OR INCOMPATIBLE WITH ECM/PCM
| Description: This DTC sets when the PCM detects various VID data that is out of a specified acceptable range. | |||
| Possible Causes: | |||
| Diagnostic Aids: The PCM did not receive a valid vehicle identification number (VIN) during reprogramming. Check for all other module DTCs or related symptoms. Diagnose all other module DTCs before diagnosing this DTC. Reprogram the BCM, instrument cluster, and PCM using as built data. Refer to FLASH ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ ONLY MEMORY (EEPROM) , Programming The VID Block For A Replacement PCM, to reprogram the PCM. | |||
