Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU): Installation

- Install the HCU and the 3 HCU bracket bolts.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Bleed the brake system. Refer to: Brake System Pressure Bleeding .

- If a new HCU/ ABS module was installed, using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the ABS module following the on-screen instructions.
- If a new HCU/ ABS module was installed, carry-out the HCU Service Bleed and the IVD Initialization using a diagnostic scan tool and following the scan tool on-screen instructions.
