Fixed Accelerator Pedal
NOTE:
To prevent setting DTCs, make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting the accelerator pedal electrical connector.
- Disconnect the fixed accelerator pedal wiring harness electrical connector.
- Remove the bolt and the accelerator pedal.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
Fixed Accelerator Pedal and Bracket
NOTE: To prevent setting DTCs, make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting the accelerator pedal electrical connector. - Disconnect the fixed accelerator pedal wiring harness electrical connector and retainer.
- Remove the bolts and the accelerator pedal.
Torque
: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
Adjustable Accelerator Pedal
NOTE: To prevent setting DTCs, make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting the accelerator pedal electrical connectors. - Disconnect the adjustable accelerator pedal wiring harness electrical connector.
- Remove the bolt and the adjustable accelerator pedal.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
Adjustable Accelerator Pedal Motor and Bracket Assembly
NOTE: The adjustable pedal system must be indexed whenever the brake pedal assembly or accelerator pedal assembly is installed. Refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM ACTUATION .
