NOTE: On some models the indicator is located on the end of the selector lever and on other models it is located on the instrument panel.

The Transmission Control Switch (TCS) is a momentary contact switch located on the end of the selector lever.

Pushing the TCS will either disengage or engage the tow/haul function of the transmission. If tow/haul is disengaged, OFF will illuminate on the indicator.

Tow haul raises shift points to maximize use of engine power, downshifts the transmission Into lower gears while going down hills to utilize engine braking to help slow the vehicle.
