Smart Junction Box (SJB): Installation

  1. Install the SJB.
    • Connect the electrical connectors.
    • Install the screw.
  2. Install the floor console finish panel.
  3. Install the parking brake lever boot into the floor console finish panel.
  4. Release the parking brake.
  5. Install the transmission selector lever bezel into the floor console finish panel.
  6. Install the floor console SJB cover.
  7. Connect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
  8. Download the SJB configuration information from the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
  9. NOTE: When successful, this step clears the manufacturing mode DTCs.
  10. Carry out TPMS sensor training. For additional information, refer to WHEELS AND TIRES article.
