Preferred Method: OBD Connect
- Inflate tires to placard.
- Following on tool prompts, read all sensor IDs using tool.
- Following on tool prompts, Connect tool to OBDII port.
- Tool will prompt you to ensure the key is ON/engine OFF.
- Continue to follow the tool prompts until successful relearn is indicated.
- Once IDS are written to the vehicle via OBDII, the vehicle will be in a Factory Reset Mode (Dome Light and TPMS light will be flashing) and require you to reactivate the sensors while the ignition remains on. Once completed verify the light is off.
NOTE:
Tech 400SD/500/PRO series Only.
Alternate Method: Stationary
- Inflate tires to placard.
- Turn ignition OFF.
- Press and release the brake pedal.
- Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN 3 times, ending in RUN.
- While still in RUN, press and release the brake pedal.
- Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN 3 times, ending in RUN.
- Horn chirps once.
- Following the prompts on the tool, activate the LF, RF, RR and LR sensors. The vehicle will give a single horn chirp at each location to indicate a successful read.
- Once completed verify the TPMS light is OFF.
