DTC P0088: FUEL RAIL/SYSTEM PRESSURE - TOO HIGH

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) regulates the fuel rail pressure by controlling the fuel volume regulator. When the PCM is no longer capable of maintaining the fuel pressure within the calibrated parameters, the DTC is set.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged fuel injection pump
Diagnostic Aids: 
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST HP .
