  1. Introduce smoke from the VACUTEC Smoke Machine Fuel Evaporative Emission Tester into the EVAP system. For additional information, refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Use the halogen light provided with the VACUTEC Smoke Machine Fuel Evaporative Emission Tester to look for smoke coming from the EVAPΒ  system. This would indicate a leak point.
  3. Repair any leaks as necessary.
  4. Repeat the leak test until the system passes.
