In-Vehicle Servicing: FLEXPLATE: Installation

  1. Position the flexplate and loosely install the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in illustration to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

  3. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 4R70E/4R75E article.
  4. WARNING: If the vehicle is equipped with a fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM article. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
  5. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
