NOTE: For vehicles equipped with E-Guard Cargo Protection SystemTM , the side and rear cargo doors will not unlock electronically or from the interior door lock rod.

Regardless of the key position, the door lock control switches are powered at all times. The door lock control switches supply voltage to either the lock or unlock circuit based upon the switch position. The door lock actuators will then actuate to a lock or unlock position determined by the voltage on the lock or unlock circuit.
