Driver Seat Module (DSM)
The driver seat module (DSM) is located under the driver seat. It controls the memory functions of the seat positions, the adjustable pedals, and the exterior rear view mirrors. The memory driver seat feature allows the driver to program a personalized seat position that can be recalled using the memory set switches or the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter(s). Refer to SEATING article.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
