  1. Refer to the compass calibration zone map to select the correct compass zone setting for the geographic location of the vehicle.
  2. Press and hold the SELECT button (approximately 3 seconds) until VAR appears on the display. Release the SELECT button.
  3. NOTE: The compass exits the VAR mode if the SELECT button has not been pressed after a period of approximately 5 seconds.
  4. Momentarily press and release the SELECT button to increase the zone increment by 1. Set the zone display number to match the vehicle geographical location on the compass calibration zone map.
