DTC P1636: - INDUCTIVE SIGNATURE CHIP COMMUNICATION ERROR

Description:  Indicates the powertrain control module (PCM) has lost communication with the inductive signature chip.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged PCM
Diagnostic Aids: 
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All DTC P1636 indicates the PCM has lost communication with the inductive signature chip. Install a new PCM and reprogram the FLASH ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ ONLY MEMORY (EEPROM) .
