DTC P0325: - KNOCK SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT (BANK 1)

Description:  The knock sensor (KS) detects vibrations upon increase and decrease in engine RPM.
The knock sensor generates a voltage based on this vibration. A DTC is set if the voltage goes outside a calibrated level.
Possible Causes: 
  • KS circuit short to GND
  • KS sensor circuit short to voltage
  • KS circuit open
  • Damaged KS
Diagnostic Aids:  A knock sensor voltage greater than 0.5 volt with the ignition ON engine OFF indicates a concern is present.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
