Follow this procedure if using a WDS scan tool.

  1. Identify the vehicle using the normal WDS process.
  2. Select the toolbox icon at the top of the screen.
  3. From the menu list at the left of the screen, select Module Programming and press the check box in the lower right corner.
  4. Select Programmable Parameter and press the check box in the lower right corner.
  5. Select Personality and press the check box in the lower right corner.
  6. Select Trailer Brake Control Module.
  7. Select Enabled and press the check box in the lower right corner.
