- Connect the scan tool to the vehicle.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Select vehicles F-Series SuperDuty.
- Select diagnostic data link.
- Select module: ICM.
- Select module configuration.
- Select customer preference item: Trailer Brake.
- Set to ENABLED.
