  3. If the vehicle is not equipped with a navigation radio, refer to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM  in this article to continue diagnosis.
  4. If the concern is visually evident, GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
  5. If the concern is not visually evident, proceed to the SPEAKER WALK-AROUND TEST  and the audio unit self-diagnostic mode.

B1342 ECU Is Defective Audio unit CLEAR and DOCUMENT the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT  in this article. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2103 Antenna Not Connected Audio unit VERIFY that the radio antenna is connected. CLEAR and DOCUMENT the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B2103 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT  in this article. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.

B2204 GPS Antenna Open or Short Audio unit GO to PINPOINT TEST R .
B2208 Navigation To Head Unit Communication Error Audio unit GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
B2402 Audio CD/DJ Thermal Shutdown Fault CD changer CLEAR and DOCUMENT the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B2402 is retrieved again, REMOVE the CD changer. SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2403 Audio CD/DJ Internal Fault CD changer CLEAR and DOCUMENT the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B2403 is retrieved again, REMOVE the CD changer. SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2405 Audio Single-Disc CD Player Thermal Shutdown Fault Audio unit CLEAR and DOCUMENT the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B2405 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. B2406 Audio Single-Disc CD Player Internal Fault Audio unit CLEAR and DOCUMENT the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC B2406 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. A477 Audio Unit Configuration Audio unit CLEAR and DOCUMENT the DTCs. CARRY OUT the self-test. If DTC A477 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT  in this article. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
