The oil life display is calculated by mileage and time (8047 km [5000 miles]/180 days). The counter starts when the vehicle is built.
- RESET the oil life display, and advise the operator to have the oil changed at the recommended service interval. REFER to the Owner's Literature for additional information.
- CHECK the operation of the speedometer gauge and the odometer display.
- If the gauges operate correctly, INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
