Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Make sure the liftgate window glass is in the raised position.
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to LIFTGATE TRIM PANEL .
- Disconnect the liftgate window latch ajar switch electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the liftgate window latch.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Mark the position of the liftgate window latch prior to removing the liftgate window latch bolts.
NOTE:
The liftgate window latch must be checked to make sure the latch is installed and aligned correctly.
