Perimeter Lighting Feature

NOTE: On vehicles with autolamps, the perimeter lighting feature does not activate in daylight conditions.

The headlamps and parklamps illuminate when the unlock control on the IKT is pressed. The perimeter lighting feature will turn off the lamps if:

  • The ignition switch is turned to the RUN position
  • The IKT lock control is pressed
  • The vehicle is locked using the keyless entry keypad (if equipped)
  • Twenty-five seconds have elapsed since the perimeter lighting was activated
