The transaxle external controls system consists of the following components:

  • Shift cable and bracket
  • Park range switch (part of the gearshift lever)
  • Shift lock actuator
  • Gearshift lever

The gearshift lever controls the transaxle gear selection through the shift cable. The cable detent and gearshift lever locking position is controlled by the gearshift knob.
