Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Installation

- Install the PCM and the stud bolts.
- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Connect the 3 PCM electrical connectors.
- Attach the wiring harness retainer to the PCM stud bolt and install the nut
- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Attach the ground strap to the PCM stud bolt and install the nut.
- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the Programmable Module Installation procedure. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
- Reprogram the passive anti-theft system (PATS). Carry out the Parameter Reset procedure. For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT - PATS - HYBRID article.
- Reprogram the customers keys. Carry out the key programming using the diagnostic equipment procedure. For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT - PATS - HYBRID article.
