Transfer Case Vent: Removal

NOTE: This procedure applies to vehicles equipped with manual transaxles.
  1. Remove the power transfer unit (PTU). For additional information, refer to Power Transfer Unit (PTU) - Manual TransaxleΒ  in the Removal portion of this article.
  2. Using a slide hammer with a 3-jaw puller attachment, remove the PTU tube.
