	Transmission selector lever cable loose from the transmission bracket	VERIFY the selector lever cable is seated in the transmission selector lever cable bracket.
	Transmission selector lever cable adjustment incorrect	VERIFY the transmission selector lever cable adjustment. REFER to Selector Lever Cable Adjustment in this article. ADJUST transmission selector lever cable if necessary. VERIFY digital transmission range (TR) position sensor for correct adjustment. REFER to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - TORQSHIFT article.
The transmission range indicator lamp does not illuminate	Bulb Circuitry	REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND PANEL ILLUMINATION article.
The transmission control switch/indicator lamp is not operating correctly	Fuse TC switch TC switch not cycled during self-test. Powertrain control module (PCM) Circuitry	Go to Pinpoint Test C .
Rattle, noise, buzz or other noise	Transmission selector lever knob	INSTALL a new transmission selector lever knob.
	Transmission selector lever	TIGHTEN the housing bolts.
	BSIA spring	ATTACH the BSIA spring correctly.
Water enters inside the vehicle	Cable assembly grommet	SECURE the grommet to dash panel.
	Torn transmission selector lever cable assembly grommet	INSTALL new transmission selector lever cable.
Excessive shift effort	Transmission selector lever cable	INSTALL a new transmission selector lever cable.
	Transmission selector lever cable bracket	ADJUST the transmission selector lever cable. TIGHTEN the transmission selector lever cable bracket screws.
The transmission selector lever will not shift from range	Transmission selector lever cable disconnected	REINSTALL the transmission selector lever cable.
	Broken transmission selector lever cable	INSTALL a new transmission selector lever cable.
