- Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS). For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
- Remove the instrument cluster finish panel. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
- Lower the steering wheel tilt adjustment to the lowest position.
- Remove the 4 screws and position the instrument cluster away from the instrument panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- If equipped with column shift, push in the 2 clips and disconnect the transmission range indicator.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the instrument cluster configuration information from the scan tool to the new instrument cluster. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
NOTE:
Prior to removal of the instrument cluster, it is necessary to upload the instrument cluster configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to
