Removal and Installation

- Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS). For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
- Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
- Remove the 2 screws and the instrument cluster finish panel.
- Remove the 4 instrument cluster screws and the instrument cluster.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the instrument cluster configuration information from the scan tool into the new instrument cluster. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .

Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to
