- Verify the customer concern.
- Visually inspect the following for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

- Antenna
- Radio speakers and mounting/speaker cones
- Battery junction box (BJB) fuse 12 (25A)
- Central junction box (CJB) fuse(s):
- 12 (10A)
- 17 (10A)
- 24 (10A)
- 29 (15A)
- Circuitry
- Radio frequency interference suppression equipment
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the cause is not visually evident, proceed to diagnose the audio system by entering the SPEAKER WALK-AROUND TEST .
