Throttle Position (TP) Sensor
The TP sensor monitors the throttle position and provides an electrical signal to the PCM. It is monitored by the OBD system for component integrity, system functionality, and faults that can cause emissions levels to exceed the standards set by government regulations. When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
