Upper Arm: Installation

  1. Position the upper arm and loosely install the 2 bolts and nuts.
  2. Attach the wheel speed sensor retainers to the upper arm.
  3. Install the shock absorber and spring assembly. For additional information, refer to Shock Absorber and Spring AssemblyΒ .
  4. Install the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article.
  5. With the weight of the vehicle on the wheel and tire assemblies, tighten the 2 upper arm nuts to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).
  6. Check and, if necessary, align the front end. For additional information, refer to GENERAL PROCEDURES article.
