- Refer to the map to select the correct compass zone setting for your geographical location. See Fig 1.
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
- Start the vehicle.
- From the SETUP menu, select the compass odometer function.
- Press SELECT to show the current zone setting (XX).
- Press the SELECT control repeatedly until the correct zone setting for your geographic location is displayed in the message center.
- To exit the zone setting mode and to lock in the change, press and release the SETUP control.
