The illuminated entry requests the courtesy lamps, the parking lamps and the dimmable backlighting to illuminate when the ignition is OFF and either the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter UNLOCK button is pressed, or the vehicle is unlocked using the keyless entry keypad. The illuminated entry requests the courtesy lamps off:

  • after 25 seconds have elapsed.
  • the ignition is switched out of OFF.
  • the RKEΒ  transmitter LOCK button is pressed.
  • the vehicle is locked using the keypad.
