- Determine which magnetic zone you are in for your geographic location.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Locate the reset button on top of the compass sensor module mounted behind the mirror. Press and hold the reset button on the compass module for approximately 5 seconds until COMPASS ZONE XX is displayed in the message center display.
- Press the reset button repeatedly until the correct zone setting for your geographic location is displayed.
- After 4 seconds, ZONE XX IS SET appears in the in the message center display and the zone is now updated.
