AUTOLAMPS SYMPTOM TABLE

  • The autolamp time delay is inoperative
  • SJB
  • CHECK the SJB configuration and make sure the autolamp feature and time delay are configured correctly.
    • If the SJB is configured correctly, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) .
    • If the SJB is not configured correctly, RECONFIGURE the SJB. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The headlamps are inoperative with autolamps on
  • SJB
  • PLACE the multifunction switch in the headlamps ON position and OBSERVE the headlamps.
    • If the headlamps illuminate, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) .
    • If the headlamps do not illuminate, REFER to HEADLAMPSΒ  to continue diagnosis of the headlamps.
  • The parking lamps are inoperative with autolamps on
  • SJB
  • PLACE the multifunction switch in the parking lamps ON position and OBSERVE the parking lamps.
