Overdrive Servo: Installation

  1. Install the return spring and the intermediate overdrive servo piston.
  2. Install the servo cover cap.
  3. Install the special tool.

  4. CAUTION:
    1. Do not use a screwdriver to install the retaining ring or damage to the case may occur. Use only snap ring pliers to install the retaining ring.
    2. If the case is stamped "WG", install a wide-groove snap ring, or the servo will be damaged.
