Autolock and Horn Chirp Programming: Autolock

NOTE: This procedure must be completed within 30 seconds.
  1. Close all the doors.
  2. Turn the key to the OFF position.
  3. Turn the key to the RUN position.
  4. Press the UNLOCK button 3 times.
  5. Turn the key to the OFF position.
  6. Press the UNLOCK button 3 times.
  7. Turn the key to the RUN position. The doors lock and unlock to confirm entry into program mode.
  8. Press the UNLOCK then the LOCK button once to toggle the autolock feature on or off. The horn chirps once to confirm toggling of the autolock if any doors, the hood or the luggage compartment are open and chirps twice if all openings are closed.
  9. Exit program mode by turning the key to the OFF position.
  10. Drive the vehicle to confirm autolock status.
