The Smart Junction Box (SJB) is located on the LH side cowl under the instrument panel and has control of the following systems:

  • Interior lighting
  • Exterior lighting
  • Dimmable backlighting
  • Battery saver function
  • Delayed accessory relay function
  • Global open function (MKZ)
  • Horn
  • Heated rear window
  • Brake shift interlock
  • Power door locks
  • Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system
  • Perimeter alarm
  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
