Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment

2005 Ford Taurus SEL, 4D SedanSECTION Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment

  1. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.
  2. Verify the RH windshield wiper blade is located in the center of the rectangular alignment mark on the windshield glass.

  4. Verify the LH windshield wiper blade is located in the center of the circular alignment mark on the windshield glass.

  6. If not within the specification, remove the windshield wiper pivot arms and reposition to the correct location.
  7. Remove the nuts and reposition the windshield wiper pivot arms.
    • To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
