  1. TP1 CHECK FOR CORRECT TRACTION MOTOR RPM DURING THE ROAD TESTΒ 
    NOTE: Refer to the table at the beginning of this pinpoint test for correct traction motor to vehicle speed correlations.
    • Clear the TCM DTCs.
    • Access the TCM and monitor the M_SPEED PID.
    • Access the TCM and monitor the VSS PID.
    • Road test the vehicle.
    • Record traction motor RPM at different vehicle speeds.

    Does the traction motor RPM correspond with the vehicle speed?Β 

    Yes No
    GO to Β TP2. INSTALL a new transaxle assembly. REFER to the AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 6F35 .
  2. TP2 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)Β 

    Is DTC P0C2F present?Β 

    Yes No
    GO to PINPOINT TEST DPΒ . Unable to duplicate or identify the concern at this time.
    RETURN to Symptom Charts to continue diagnosis.
