Disable Using the Ignition Lock Cylinder

NOTE:
The auto lock feature is not available on vehicles equipped with manual transmissions.
- Close all the doors.
- Confirm that the ignition switch is in the OFF position.
- Turn the ignition switch from OFF to ON.
- Press the door lock control switch UNLOCK button 3 times.
- Turn the ignition switch from ON to OFF.
- Press the door lock control switch UNLOCK button 3 times.
- Turn the ignition switch from OFF to ON.
- Press the door lock control switch UNLOCK button, then the LOCK button.
- Verify the horn chirps 1 time. The auto lock/relock feature has been disabled.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position to exit the enable/disable mode.
NOTE:
Steps 4 through 8 must be carried out within 30 seconds.
